From Dan: Colombia and the U.S. Presidential Race

The U.S. Presidential election being followed closely Colombia. The general belief is that Obama is likely to win. Romney is barely known here. Obama scored major points in televised appearance while in Colombia for the recent Summit of the Americas. People at all levels seem to have liked his style, his demeanor, personality and what he said. The Secret Service misbehavior at the summit may now be mostly forgotten in the U.S., but not here. It’s still a major topic of conversation – the butt of jokes, etc. and a big embarrassment for the U.S. in this region.
